        The law firm of Otterman and Allen is an “A” rated general practice firm serving clients throughout the state of Vermont with an emphasis in Washington, Orange, and Caledonia counties.  Established in 1965 by Harvey "Bud" Otterman Jr. (of Topsham), and O. Fay Allen Jr. (of Chelsea), the firm is operated  and is led by Bud's son, David Otterman.  Also practicing with David are Andrea Gallitano, and David's son, Adrian Otterman.

        Harvey "Bud" Otterman, Jr. practiced law in Vermont for over 50 years.  He has retired from the practice of law and is now making law as a Representative in the Vermont Legislature.  He is the vice-chair of the House Ways and Means Committee.

        O. Fay Allen, Jr. is also retired from the practice of law and is living in sunny Florida.

        David Otterman, Bud's son, currently leads the practice.  David focuses his practice on Estate Planning and Settlement, Guardianships, Trust Administration, and complicated Estate and Probate related litigation.  He currently serves as guardian or trustee for numerous individuals and represents and advises third party guardians, trustees, administrators, and executors.  David is one of the most experienced probate attorneys in Vermont and is the former president of the Vermont chapter of ACTEC.

       Andrea Gallitano concentrates his practice on business law and general litigation.  He advises businesses on a variety issues.   He also dedicates a portion of his practice to personal injury litigation.

        Adrian Otterman, David's son and Bud's grandson, concentrates his practice in the areas of Estate Settlement; Estate, Trust, and Guardianship Litigation; and Business law.  Adrian handles numerous primary and ancillary estates and is experienced at representing out-of-state clients in the administration of Estates or other probate matters such as guardianships. 

        The attorneys are assisted by an experienced support staff.
